Summary
according to an article published by beincrypto.com on July 1,2026, Standard Chartered initiated Morpho coverage with a $60 price target for 2030. i personally will not take a trading decision based on that forecast. The same forecaster failed in the past to accurately forecast bitcoin price, There is no doubt about the quality of resources and work done by institution such as Standard Chartered, the problem is that cryptocurrencies prices are difficult to predict, probably because of the number of variables that a forecaster must take into consideration.
Now it’s time to open your favorite calendar (google calendar for example) and mark an important date for MORPHO : 21 nov. 2027, which is the day MORPHO unlock program will end.
in theory week 47 of 2027 could see the lowest MORPHO price because of the increase in circulating supply, so as of today September 9, 2026 you can see that there is still a lot of time and a lot can happen in between like the launch of one or two MORPHO ETFs! I mean i am not better that SC in forecasting, working on tokenomics schedule is more a framework than a price prediction methodology.
For now allocating no more than 0.25% of an entire crypto portfolio is probably the right thing to do, depending on the size of your portfolio. By the end of November 2027 one can in theory increase MORPHO allocation to 2 % no more.

MORPHO is a governance token, it is not an inflationary cryptocurrency, the total supply is capped and the issuance of new tokens is not allowed, instead there is an unlock program expected to end by November 22, 2027.

integrators such as other DeFi protocols, partners, institutions, and exchange platforms looking for a lending borrowing solution will compare MORPHO with other solutions like : AAVE, Compound, Euler,…. This mean that Morpho failing to provide relevant components and features will lead to less adoption and to its decline. A lower demand for Morpho token mean the price of Morpho token going down.

MORPHO has a different positioning, their intention is partnering with global institutions such as the banking sector, instead of replacing them, this basically give them access to a largest market and transactions size, being sustainable.
MORPHO is probably not a candidate for failure and shut down, while other are more likely to fail in the coming years. new users leaving other platform and joining MORPHO mean more demand for MORPHO token and its price going up.
11-C- DeFi
MORPHO is in a very promising sector, Lending Borrowing DeFi progressive adoption is expected to globally generate demand for solutions such as MORPHO. More demand for MORPHO token can push its price up.

upgrades solving problems or providing new features can increase demand and push MORPHO token price up.
